Rising Youth has helped us with funding towards our 2020 Summer Program. Thank you Rising Youth.

ArtStarts funded us to complete our Online Summer Program (2020). Thank you ArtStarts.

We were  awarded the Ontario Trillium Foundation, Youth Opportunities Fund Multi-year Grant from 2020-2024. Thank you OTF, YOF.

Thank you to the Toronto Arts Council for funding us this year (2021). This is our first time ever receiving funding from this organization. 

Thank you to the City of Toronto, Cultural HotSpot for Funding our Spring Dance Showcase. We are so excited to show the video with our community this summer. The City of Toronto has also recently funded us through the Black Mandated Funding, Supporting Grassroots and Emerging Organizations in 2024. We were able to support many youth with this Funding.

We are thrilled to be the recipient of the 2022 MLSE Foundation Community Grant. We have been able to start GP at a new location and impact the lives of more young Black Girls in Toronto.

Canadian Women's Foundation Community Grant was awarded to GP in 2022. We are so grateful for the support of this organization and for allowing us to continue running programs to impact the lives of Black girls in Toronto. 

Artreach Granted us in 2022. We ran a program in July-August 2022 Called Summer Flow. Getting Black girls in tune with their feelings and culture through; spoken word, visual art, dance, and journaling. The program was a huge success and look forward to expanding this program. Thank you Artreach! 

In 2023 and in 2024, NIKE Inc. Made to Play has granted GP Grants to go towards our summer programming. The Social & Community Impact  has been a fond of our vision at Girl Power'd. We are truly grateful and look forward to  this continued partnership.  

A Partnership where GP helped to create a curriculum that would be inclusive for all youth of colour and Black youth. This curriculum is now being used Nation wide. It is a course that helps youth feel comfortable with who they are, with their culture, and with being different.  We are grateful for making a difference with other organizations. 

We were awarded the BOF Arts & Culture, Grant in 2023. We were able to help many Black youth in Toronto with this grant.  We are grateful for the support and for being able to make an impact in our Community.
